The athletes that choose to lay it all on the line mixed with the difficulty of skateboarding makes it a sport that I have the utmost respect for. Skating takes some serious dedication, especially after that first big fall. Anyone who has taken that fall knows what I am talking about. Everything from my personal favorite of street skating on up to half pipe, big air, or some of the other more televised disciplines requires some serious skill.
