This month has us set to kick off the 3rd annual Northwest Riders Wake Series! The event is set for Friday-Saturday-Sunday, June 22-23-24 in Monroe, WA.
Come out to Lake Tye north of Seattle, WA for a spectator friendly (FREE!) double up comp as well as a flatland skimboarding demo from DB Skimboards. Saturday registrations are also now open for all ages and all abilities to compete in a laid back freeride wakeboarding contest. We cap it all off on Sunday with a wakeboard clinic.

The 4th Annual Northwest Riders Gearance Sale is this Saturday, December 3 (2011). We will have a TON of snow gear as well as gear and clothing from a bunch of various action sports.

The venue has perfect sight lines, ample space for driving and pulling riders, great retail including local shop Grizzly-Sports, restaurants including event participant Sockeye's, a small skate park, a full walking path around the lake, plenty of parking, and is just a short drive from Seattle and the surrounding areas.

It's that time again ... the 3rd Annual Gearance Sale is happening THIS SATURDAY - Dec. 11th. Every year we have a huge sale on everything from snowboards, skimboards, outerwear, wake gear, and a whole lot of "in-between."

Plenty of snow, rain, ice, and wind is making its way through the Northwest. Growing up in this stuff in Eastern Washington was one thing. Mix in a lot more people, a lot more vehicles, and add the fact that those people behind the wheels of those vehicles are not used to this much snow and ice means scary conditions!
Don't get me wrong, I'm just as sketched out here in the city when winter hits hard...which is why I am in-doors in the warmth typing this BLOG today.
Greg made his way down to Oregon on a sales trip just before Seattle got tagged with winter...and basically is now stuck south. More on that, along with a pretty telling video of road conditions here in Sea-Town await:

Also, Rhys has plenty of shots from the Saturday event on his website. He sat out in a tube for a good portion of the day grabbing photos of the competitors as they went by. Many of his shots are available to purchase if interested.

The 2010 Butter Stomp wakeboard event is on for the next to last weekend of July in Ione, WA. Northwest Riders is offering up some gear and prizes in support of the event. Don't miss a great time ... the guys at 3F2.org always do a great job!

Location: Ione City Park in Ione, Washington

The 2010 Slingshot Reflex is one of the boards available for riding when you take a wakeboard lesson from us. The board was designed with a lot of rail and obstacle friendly features. It is also a really fun wake to wake board that we recommend you give a shot if you come out behind the NWR Malibu.

Last Friday's premier of DB Skimboards new video "Believe In Your Dreams" at Western Washington University was a big success. The turnout was great and the video was even better.

The 2010 Cleanwater Classic kicks off today, Friday 14th and goes through Sunday 16th. Greg will be out in the Northwest Riders booth with our buddy John. Stop by and say hello and check out the surfing while enjoying some great weekend sunshine.

The 9th annual Clean Water Classic surfing competition is scheduled for May 14th to the 16th, 2010. This event, the largest continuously run Pro/Am competition in the Pacific Northwest, will take place in Westport, Washington.
The Clean Water Classic weekend includes not only great surfing, but also live music, movie showings, a vendor village, silent auction and raffle.

The boys over at DB Skimboards have released their new film "Believe In Your Dreams" and it is mighty good! There is an upcoming premier on the 21st in Bellingham and there are multiple showings after that in various locations around Washington State.

Thanks to all of the new customers that purchased wakeboarding lessons the last few days from Groupon.com. The run has officially ended as of midnight last night and we sold 101 lessons.
We're stoked...
We received a slew of calls from people that had never wakeboarded before. This means they will be introduced to the sport for the first time, which is a great thing for growing it into the future.

Well, it finally happened. Our longtime friend and team rider Brent Starr and his wife Amy added a new member to their family. Leighton Elizabeth Starr was born on December 27th, tipping the scales at 8 lbs 7 oz. and 20.1 inches. She’s got all of her fingers and toes, and a clean bill of health.
Congratulations Brent and Amy!
