Dollars and Sense
Monday July 5th 2010
Happy 5th of July friends of NWR! Hope the 4th was safe and was celebrated well. We kept it nice and low key with some friends and family.
A little business update for you today...
We decided to re-work some pricing structures to better manage our margins and allow shops to have a stronger backing for the Northwest Riders brand. In the end, the changes were minimal. The Standard tees moved from $18 to $20, the Stamp tees dropped from $22 to $20, and finally...the White Noise tees slid to $22 from $20. Hats and Stickers all stayed as-is.
As mentioned, we did this for a few reasons. One, the price of raw materials, specifically cotton, has increased. And B, as mentioned above, the pricing changes allow our shops to make NWR that much stronger in their store. We have some plans to expand our offering both in products offered and especially in getting the brand into more shops here in the great northwest! If you are the buyer for a shop and are reading this, please email me with any questions or interest in carrying Northwest Riders. We work pretty close with our current shops and desire to be very strategic in where we will place our products in the future.
Greg and I are pretty excited with the NWR growth over these last 6 months. We have a lot going on behind the scenes right now and I'll be sure and update you here as soon as I can. The new Scratchwork tee drops in a few weeks along with a new color option on the popular Skyline tee. Stay tuned here on the BLOG and also over on our Facebook page.
As always...thank you all for your continued support and for representing the Northwest with our gear.
