We have a few photos up from the Northwest Riders Wake Series on our gallery page. Most of the shots we posted there are from the Friday night double up event. Also, Rhys has plenty of shots from the Saturday event on his website. He sat out in a tube for a good portion of the day grabbing photos of the competitors as they went by. Many of his shots are available to purchase if interested.

This event was fun...and I'm not just saying that because it was our event. I had a blast. Greg had a blast. Our volunteers had a great time. The riders enjoyed it. We also heard the same from Monroe locals, the Monroe Parks Department, the City of Monroe Mayor and staff, and on and on. It was fun because all of these people made it just that. Thank you. Anyone that came out and supported us...you are appreciated.

Wake team rider Eddie Roberts made his way out to the lake to show a local Seattle "Features Reporter" from Q13 a few pointers on the wakeboard. Eddie gave a lesson and then followed it up with some riding of his own for the camera.

The Friday night double up comp will kick things off, followed up by a full day of all-ages competition on Saturday, and then will be capped by a learning clinic on Sunday.

The 2010 Butter Stomp wakeboard event is on for the next to last weekend of July in Ione, WA. Northwest Riders is offering up some gear and prizes in support of the event. Don't miss a great time ... the guys at 3F2.org always do a great job!

Event: Butter Stomp Wakeboard Weekend
Date: July 23rd - July 25th 2010
Location: Ione City Park in Ione, Washington
Directions: Use http://maps.google.com to find the best route from your home to the Butter Stomp in the Ione City Park. Ione is about 2 hours north of Spokane, WA.
Camping: Tent camping is available directly across from the site. ‘Tent City’ spots are available by first come first serve basis. Check in with Jay at the Ione Motel & RV Park 509-442-3213.

Well, it is finally official. After 3+ years of working on the ultimate location for a wakeboarding event, Northwest Riders Clothing Company is happy to present the 1st annual Northwest Riders Wake Series. The event is set for a Friday through Sunday happening, August 13-15 in Monroe, WA.

The Northwest Riders Wake Series will be held on Lake Tye north of Seattle, WA. The venue has perfect sight lines, ample space for driving and pulling riders, great retail including local shop Grizzly-Sports, restaurants including event participant Sockeye's, a small skate park, a full walking path around the lake, plenty of parking, and is just a short drive from Seattle and the surrounding areas.

The 2010 Slingshot Reflex is one of the boards available for riding when you take a wakeboard lesson from us. The board was designed with a lot of rail and obstacle friendly features. It is also a really fun wake to wake board that we recommend you give a shot if you come out behind the NWR Malibu.
